The Traditional blend as whole beans — specialty-grade Arabica, roasted in-house, ready for any grinder and any brew method.
Whole Bean Traditional is the exact blend we grind for our classic Traditional — 70% Sul de Minas, Brazil roasted dark for body and chocolate, 30% Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia roasted lighter for its florals.
Shipped as whole beans, the aromatics stay locked inside until the moment you grind. If you drink Turkish coffee alongside espresso, drip, or French press, one bag covers all of them.
In the cup: the Traditional profile — chocolate, hazelnut, roasted nuts — with whichever body your brew method builds. As Turkish coffee: full and foamy. As pour-over: rounder and cleaner.
Synergy — the mix combines the best traits of both beans. Brazil anchors the cup with chocolatey depth; Ethiopia adds a fragrant pop. One origin gives the body a Turkish cup needs, the other keeps the aroma alive.
Only some can. A true Turkish grind is finer than espresso — most blade grinders and many burr grinders cannot reach it. Manual Turkish mills and high-end burr grinders with a Turkish setting can. If in doubt, the pre-ground Traditional is milled at the roastery.
Same beans, same roast, same blend. The only difference is that it ships whole so you control the grind and the freshness window.
Medium-dark — developed for body, aroma, and classic Turkish coffee foam without roasting away the natural sweetness of the beans.
